Speaker: Dr. Mark Schaefer, Marietta College Associate Professor 

Dr. Schaefer teaches courses in American politics, International Relations and research methods. He also serves as the College’s Pre-Law Advisor and as one of the sponsors of the Marietta College Model United Nations Team.

His most recent publication is a book entitled: The Formation of the BRICS and its Implication for the United States: Emerging Together (2014). The work was co-authored with Dr. John G. Poffenbarger of Wheeling Jesuit University. His current research centers on the impacts of American domestic political change on the allies of the United States.
